Hi All,

I recently changed the theme on my site and am finding that when the site initially loads it does not load the "news" module as it should. Its set to load this as the default module, but what I get instead is a list of pages 1,2,3 etc with the first number not an active link, then all numbers after as active links.

This is the site and what is appearing:
http://www.closecombatonline.com/CSO/index.php?

This is what should be appearing:
http://www.closecombatonline.com/index.php?name=News

Anyone have any ideas what the problem is, have checked and checked and all settings seem correct. Think I need some expert advice here!

Cheers - Shaun

Ok,

Anyone? I had 7 replies in the time I have posted this on the PN forums and I have never made payment or donation to them.

I have paid for this and made a donation in the past and zero replies! I have followed the instructions and posted accordingly!

Is it just take the money and run?

Cheers - Shaun

I apologize for your troubles, but at 11:00PM on a Sunday night I wouldn't have expected a response from a small or large sized company. It is only about 4 hours into the first working day since you posted.

Based on your errors "Template not defined in theme configuration!", I would assume that you haven't defined a template for your article summaries in the theme configuration. Try the following:

1. Goto Administration > AutoTheme > Themes > AutoTheme-2008 [Configure]
2. Goto Theme Defaults
3. Make sure you have a template selected for "Summary Article"
4. If you have "Use Alternating Summaries?" set to Yes, then make sure you have a template selected for "First Alternating Summary" and "Second Alternating Summary"
5. If you have a Custom Pages > *HomePage, then [Configure] *HomePage and repeat 3 and 4.

Thanks!

Hia Shawn,

Sorry for delay, had to go to hospital today, just got back.

Yes it was the 5. If you have a Custom Pages > *HomePage, then [Configure] *HomePage and repeat 3 and 4 that fixed it!

Sorry for the hard ass comments on earlier post mate, been a long year

Many thanks for the help and supplying the fix!

Cheers - Shaun
